In 1966, Ford shattered Ferrari's grip on international sports car racing with three landmark victories — the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and the iconic 1-2-3 formation finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. To mark the 60th anniversary of that legendary campaign, Superformance and Safir Engineering present the Championship Season Series: an exclusive run of 66 authentic GT40 MKIIs.

Each car is hand-built at the Superformance factory in South Africa under the scrutiny of Safir GT40 Spares, Ltd., faithfully replicating the original steel monocoque chassis with over two-thirds of rolling chassis parts interchangeable with the 1960s originals. Buyers choose from eight historically accurate liveries representing three of the era's most celebrated teams — Shelby American, Holman Moody, and Alan Mann Racing — with chassis numbers continuing directly from the originals.

Special anniversary appointments include 60th anniversary badges and interior trim, team-specific gauges and logos, 15" Halibrand-style wheels, twin 10-gallon fuel tanks, quick jacks, and a Ford 427FE engine installation kit. Shelby livery cars carry individual Shelby serial numbers and Carroll Shelby's mechanical signature. Every car is issued an official Safir Certificate of Authenticity and entered into the GT40 Registry.
