What truly sets Superformance apart is our exclusive, official licensing from the most legendary names in automotive history: Shelby Licensing, Safir GT40 Spares, and General Motors. These are not mere endorsements—they are legal continuations of the original bloodline of cars.

- Shelby licensing allows every Shelby Daytona Coupe and elite Superformance-built Shelby Cobra edition to be issued an authentic Shelby CSX serial number and certificate, and entered into the official Shelby World Registry alongside the 1960s originals.

- Safir GT40 Spares—the sole legal successor to the original GT40 program—grants every Superformance GT40 a genuine continuation P-series chassis number (P/1000 or 2000 and up), making them the only factory-built GT40s recognized as true continuations since Ford's production ended in 1969. They are also issued with a Certificate of Authenticity.

- General Motors' official license authorizes the Corvette Grand Sport to carry GM's blessing, ensuring authenticity along with parts support. It is the difference between a replica and the real thing.
Superformance has always set itself apart by refusing to treat classic 60’s cars as mere replicas—instead, they obsess over building continuations that honor and often surpass the originals. To achieve this, they enlisted an extraordinary roster of legends who lived the era: Peter Brock, the aerodynamic genius behind the Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupé; Bob Olthoff, the South African works driver who wrung every ounce of performance from the original Cobras and GT40s on the world’s toughest circuits; John Horsman, the brilliant Mirage and GT40 engineer who pioneered lightweight construction and quick-change brake systems at Le Mans; Bob Bondurant, World Championship winning driver and Bob Negstad, the master chassis builder whose hands shaped countless championship-winning cars. The result is rolling-stock perfection: Superformance chassis are well built masterpieces of the 1960s originals, suspension systems incorporate period-correct kinematics while adding spherical bearings and adjustable coil-overs for contemporary safety and performance, and every body is either hand-rolled aluminum or hand-laid fiberglass with far higher consistency and durability than the sometimes hurried originals. By combining the unfiltered knowledge of the men who designed, built, and raced these icons with today’s finest materials and manufacturing precision, Superformance doesn’t just reproduce history—it refines it into what the originals always aspired to be.
