The original Corvette Grand Sport has a compelling history. In the early 1960s, Zora Arkus-Duntov aimed to create a lightweight, exceptionally fast Corvette with the ultimate goal of winning the GT class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The production target was set at 125 units to comply with homologation rules. However, after a pilot run of just 5 cars, General Motors terminated the program and ordered the destruction of the vehicles. Instead, Zora stored two and sold the other three.

Superformance’s 1963 Corvette Grand Sport replica pays homage to that project. It is a recreation of the C2 Corvette Grand Sport, featuring modern technology underneath while preserving the iconic look of the 1960s. Superformance has developed its own platform for this Corvette, incorporating fully independent front and rear suspension, Bilstein dampers, H&R springs, vented disc brakes on all corners, and rack and pinion power steering.
