Dallas Auto Show

2008 Dallas Auto Show One of the most anticipated annual events in the metroplex, the Dallas Auto Show is the ideal opportunity for consumers to compare styling and pricing of every major line make under one roof in just a few hours. The Dallas Auto Show was conceived in 1982, and now boasts more than 550,000 square feet of new cars, trucks and SUVs at the Dallas Convention Center and an attendance of close to 400,000 auto enthusiasts. For 2008, more than 40 manufacturers from A to V will display more than 700 vehicles.

As a Superformance car owner, you are cordially invited to attend and participate in the annual 2008 Superformance SSR Cruise Event held on May 2-3 in Paducah, Kentucky. This annual event is the driving season ground breaker and will feature two days of driving and cruising the backroads as well as mingling with other fellow Superformance Cobra, Coupe, GT-40 and S1 owners from across the world.

Barrett Jackson AZ 2008

The New CS GT40 was featured at the bidders bar in the main hall.  This CS GT40 was built to replicate the car P/1015 originally driven by the Miles/Amos representing the Shelby American team.  On display in the booth were the reproductions of the other two CS GT40 options that will be available namely the P/1046 car which is Black with silver stripes and P/1047 which is red with white stripes.  The Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe which was built to fashion car number 98  representing chassis #2300 that Shelby himself owned for many years attracted a lot of attention.  On the Roush booth in-between all there new motor selections stood  the new Superformance MKIII  SEMA show car which has the Roush dry sump motor fitted.  This stunning Show car is currently touring with Roush and attending various car shows predominantly on the East coast.

The nation's largest auto show, held in the McCormick Place complex. Multiple world and North American introductions. Complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars and trucks; sport utility vehicles, experimental and concept cars. In total, nearly 1,000 different vehicles. Numerous accessories and auto-related exhibits, competition vehicles, project, antique and collector cars.

May 2007- Proudly showing off there Great Superformance cars, approximately 60 cars and a lot of owners arrived at the Dynamic facility. Following donuts and coffee Mike Evangelo held a tech talk. Ron Rosens great stories had most laughing there heads off while Dean Rosen took some new potential owners for rides in his GT40. Later most owners went on a 100 mile cruise led by Bill Wertz (SP193) through the Kentucky contryside, great fun, which attracted a lot of attention from passers by. That evening a banquet was held at Dantes Restaurant Imperial House Hotel where a few lucky attendees received door prizes. This fun filled day was a huge sucess.

The Orange County Cobra Club hold this event annually and this year it was held in the park like setting and gardens of the Westin Hotel in Costa Mesa. On display were Original 289 and 427 Cobra's, continuation models and reproductions, a Shelby Daytona Coupe, GT40's both New and Continuation models, and Mustangs both old, new and custom.

Lance Stander in his Superformance GT40 won the Ladies choice trophy.
 

May 25-27th, 2007- A National Event held at the Masonic Homes of Kentucky Campus in Louisville. The event is a 700 plus car show and the Kentucky Cobra Club was invited to participate as a Club and have its own class of cars to be judged.

Hunt Palmer-Ball, Owner of this beautiful Green Superformance took 1st place in the Cobra division of the National All Ford Show in Louisville!
